
The state REMC Association has funded a program called the Connected Educator Series. The intent is to provide short, high quality videos to the educators throughout our state of educators in our state doing cutting edge things in their classrooms. The plan is to release one video every two weeks beginning in January 2012.
The videos will are available on the MIStreamnet site to provide filtered free viewing by all.

"Wikis in the Classrom (Amber Kowatch)", February 1, 2012. Amber Kowatch (Franklin Elementary, Ludington) shares how she uses wikis with her 2nd grade students to help them connect and reflect as they write. Amber gives some fantastic ideas about different ways wikis can be used at any grade level or subject as well as some guidance to get teachers started in their own classrooms. 12:36 mins.
